Position Summary / What you’ll be doing:
As a Global Training Specialist, you'll join our Training team within our operations division where you will play a crucial role in delivering training to customers of the CARMA application, ensuring that our customers understand our product and can use it effectively.
You'll get to know the CARMA platform, the people who use it, and their needs as they incorporate it into their jobs and careers. You'll build upon your knowledge of the telecommunications industry and the unique roles that support data centers and information infrastructure.
Most of all, you'll flex your skills as a presenter, facilitator, and teacher to engage and educate a global audience. In a collaborative team setting, you'll work closely with internal teams including customer support, software development, and project management and bridge the gap to our customers, end-users. You'll have clear direction and supportive and trusting leadership in a fast-moving environment that encourages you to exercise your superior analytical and interpersonal skills to deliver real training with real results.

Schedule: 40 hours/ week
Location: Denver, CO with ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Start date: Immediate
Compensation: $80-$100k, target 10% annual bonus, group health insurance, 401k, RTD Ecopass, onsite gym membership
Position Responsibilities / What you’re responsible for:
Travel to customer sites and deliver instructor-led training plans to adult learners in-person
Host live learning sessions online for customers learning remotely
Leverage learning technologies to support an engaging and effective learning experience including presentation tools, collaborative whiteboards, chat, polling, and virtual break-out rooms
Facilitate discussions adapting to audience needs and environments from small classrooms to large web-based meetings
Engage live audiences with exercises designed to foster higher-level thinking and content retention
Record video demonstrations and presentations for different purposes including teaching high-level concepts and explaining new product features
Train and certify other trainers and power-users to deliver training content, improve end-user adoption, and maximize CARMA's value in their workplace
Capture and report on user feedback to continuously improve training content
Manage a queue of learning content updates from users and internal stakeholders
Make edits and revisions to existing training content to ensure accuracy and clarity while responding to a rapidly changing technology landscape
Recommend and occasionally create learning exercises that achieve business results
Represent CARMA, its values and its products, in a professional and positive manner as company ambassador
Position Requirements / What we're looking for:
You'll need to have...
Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Journalism, Education, or related field
2-3 years' experience in telecommunications, software, or related field
2-3 years' experience in a training or educational role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with CRM and project management software
Intermediate live and recorded media production experience
Advanced public speaking skills and experience with varied audiences and formats
Intermediate experience with applying active listening, facilitation, and classroom management principles
Even better if you have...
Advanced degree in Business, English, Education or related field
5 years' experience in telecommunications, software or related field
5 years' experience in a training or communications role
Proficiency with CRM and project management software
Advanced live and recorded media production experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365
Familiarity with Autodesk's Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (ACC) suite of products & services
Advanced experience with applying active listening, facilitation, and classroom management principles
