We’re excited to announce that ISV App License Management – a new technical benefit – is now open to all ISV Connect partners. This new benefit helps ISVs focus on their core business of app building and leaves the work of license enforcement to Microsoft. The new license management capabilities for ISV Connect help partners scale more quickly by standardizing customers’ license management experience in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. They also free up partners from having to invest time and money in building a stand-alone license management system, giving teams the ability to focus instead on building core value into their applications. “We have the ability to go so much faster and so much farther without having to build license management ourselves,” said Frank McDermott, co-founder and CEO of Carma, a Microsoft partner that specializes in creating technology solutions for customers in the telecommunications industry. Carma is one of a select number of Microsoft partners that participated in the development of ISV App License Management, which is now broadly available for partners who are members of ISV Connect. “Microsoft providing us with the infrastructure to build on has helped us jump even further ahead of our competition. We can focus on our industry-specific use cases and functionality. The end result for our customers is that they get a lot of new features that are tailor-made for their use cases, rather than us needing to build our own license management system,” added Joe McDermott, co-founder and COO of Carma.
