Job Type: Full time employment
Schedule: 40 hours/ week
Location: Denver, CO
Start date: Immediate
Compensation: $120-$150k, target 10% bonus, stock options, group health insurance, RTD Ecopass, onsite gym membership
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Databricks and Spark
- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Databricks platform
- Optimize data processing and query performance
- Collaborate with business analysts, product, engagement managers, and customers to understand data requirements and provide insights
- Develop data models and schemas to support business intelligence and reporting
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation
- Implement data governance and security best practices
- Innovate and invite a “best-practice” culture in method, tools, and approach for project work and IP solutions for the company
Required Skills

- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems quickly and creatively
- Advanced proficiency with Databricks and Spark
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with data ingestion tools and technologies (Python, Power BI)
- Knowledge of data quality and validation best practices
- Strong written communications especially related to articulating expectations and results
- Comfortable using Visual Studio or VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control
Preferred Skills
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Databricks Certification
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Participation on software project(s) with a team of 5 or more
- Familiarity with Microsoft Flow, Power Automate, and Microsoft Common Data Service Configuration Migration
