Job Type: Full time employment

Schedule: 40 hours/ week

Location: Denver, CO

Start date: Immediate

Compensation: $120-$150k, target 10% bonus, stock options, group health insurance, RTD Ecopass, onsite gym membership

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Databricks and Spark
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Databricks platform
• Optimize data processing and query performance
• Collaborate with business analysts, product, engagement managers, and customers to understand data requirements and provide insights
• Develop data models and schemas to support business intelligence and reporting
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation
• Implement data governance and security best practices
• Innovate and invite a “best-practice” culture in method, tools, and approach for project work and IP solutions for the company

Required Skills

• Be a good team player

• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts

• Advanced proficiency with Databricks and Spark
• Experience with Azure
• Experience with data ingestion tools and technologies (Python, Power BI)
• Knowledge of data quality and validation best practices
• Strong written communications especially related to articulating expectations and results
• Comfortable using Visual Studio or VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control

Preferred Skills

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Databricks Certification
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Participation on software project(s) with a team of 5 or more
• Familiarity with Microsoft Flow, Power Automate, and Microsoft Common Data Service Configuration Migration
